- All BTW pans have specific set-out requirements for Pan collar location in floor and rear water inlet fitting. “Please refer to specification sheets for product specific details”
- All Villeroy & Boch cisterns are supplied with the inlet value fitted in the side of the cistern for transport reasons only, this needs to be removed and hole filled with a bung supplied, unless top of cistern side inlet is desired.
- Kitchen sink models with overflow are supplied with a waste & overflow connection set; individual sink models without overflow are not supplied with waste fittings.
- All under-counter basins are specified by the manufacturer to be installed with flexible adhesive failure to comply will render warranty null and void.
- All vitreous china is manufactured to a tolerance, deviation of up to 10% is sometimes found.
- All basins are not supplied with wastes.
Villeroy & Boch Baths
- Australian Building Standards AS2023:1977 specifies any section of a Bath installed abutting a wall shall be installed with a tiling flange or tiling bead –not less than 12mm in height to ensure adequate water proofing is provided to the wall sheeting and tiles. Refer to Villeroy & Boch Tiling Lip Installation Instructions.
- All Villeroy & Boch baths supplied to market with a waste & overflow are provided with the required waste connection set.
- Bath stabilising feet are recommended as part of the installation process by the manufacturer, and are supplied with each bath. (excludes free standing bath & surround) Fitment of feet is not mandatory only optional, under Australian Building Standards.
- Where the bath is required to be fitted flush with the hob tiles, specific local authority approval will need to be gained.
- Aveo freestanding whirlpool - A rough in installation template is supplied with every Aveo whirlpool at both the time of ordering and with the actual whirlpool to help ensure the accurate location of the plumbing and electrical services; this can also be used to help gauge the location of freestanding bath filler if this is being used. Contact Argent or your suppling retailer if you have not received this by the time you are ready to start roughing in the plumbing and electrical services. Do not start the rough in without this template.
